BA 2v2 Tournament [v1.16.1]

Date:  Registrations begin 15th of October

Prizes:
1st - 5 Invites each + 1 tournament win
2nd - 3 Invites each +1 tournament win
3rd - 2 Invites each

Tournament Structure:
- Double Elimination, BO5-RO5 (2 2v2s & 2 1v1s, Ace match 2v2)
- Grand Final is BO7 ( 2 2v2's & 4 1v1's, Ace match 2v2)
- Maximum 16 teams
- Loser Bracket
- Use Map Setting, Top vs Bottom ONLY.
- Team Melee format is ALLOWED in place of the other formats in the 2v2 games. But both teams must consent to use this type of format.

Tournament Entry
- I will giving out invites to anyone who wants to join the tournament but does not have a Bored Aussies account. By applying for this, you accept and agree to the Terms and Conditions. To apply for this, please follow the link on' Application for SC Invite' found below.

-If you have an existing BA account, please register in the Team Registration Thread. You may find the link below.

Map Pack Thread

The BASC Team reserve the right to change the maps throughout the tournament.

Rules:
-You must use Chaos Launcher (#LL Plug-in with the latest version) for ALL games. The opposing team may claim victory against you if you do not have Chaos Launcher open. You may use the other default plug-ins provided in the program.
-The use of Ventrillo or TeamSpeak services is allowed. The BASC Team will provide a private channel for your team on Ventrillo. We do not provide services for Teamspeak. Should you use TeamSpeak, you must provide for yourself.
-Anyone may join the tournament, but we reserve the right to void your entry without reason.
-The use of  non-approved 3rd party programs (maphack, buildhack etc) is disallowed. Anyone caught using these programs may be suspended from Bored Aussie for 2 months. If in doubt, ask. You can contact me at Pure_Knight@live.com should you have questions about this.
-If a disconnection occurs before the 2 minute mark, you must re-play that match immediately.
-If a disconnection occurs after the 2 minute mark, You are to playon. You are not to remake for the disconnected team-mate. [R]
-You may not change races during matches, but are allowed to change races every round.
-If you suspect the other team of using foul play (using banned glitches/ or using illegal 3rd party programs, please go here.
-In the event of Ba being offline during your scheduled time to play, you are to use the iCCup server to play your games. You must use your iCCup alias listed in the team registration to play your games. The meeting place will be in channel "BA"
-If you wish to play your games on iCCup, you must seek permission from the opposing team to play on iCCup. Should both teams agree, you must inform Pure_Knight that you are playing your matches on iCCup by pming him. Failure to do so will result in the games being recorded as null.

You are allowed to use the following bugs/glitches/strats to your advantage/opponent’s disadvantage:
-Plague on interceptor
-Units pressed through
-Drops to defuse mines
-Mineral walk
-Manner Pylon
-Observer Over turret
-Lurker hold position

You are not allowed to use the following bugs/glitches/strats to your advantage/opponent’s disadvantage:
-Flying drones and templars
-Terran sliding buildings
-A bug which allows your units to remain stacked while moving/attacking
-Intentional dropping lurker and SCV
-Allied mines


The BASC Team reserve the right to choose which glitches/bugs/strats are allowed/not allowed during the course of the tournament. Disobeying the rules may result in a disqualification and a total serverban from Bored Aussies

3 things btw (soz for double post)

#1 I realise exams are coming very shortly, so i'll find a way around them, somehow.

#2 it took a fkn long time to make an a account on here.

#3 If you need an invite, Click on the Link "Application for SC Invite". It is the best way to get an invite in time for this event.

Ah interesting but not for me.

I think some of those bugs were fixed in the last few patchs by blizzard.

Unlikely that I'll be able to play unless anyone knows of a good LAN cafe around Sydney (Newtown) where they allow installation of either BA or iCCup antihack launcher for playing.

I can get a partner and if I can find a net café I might be able to participate (prob on iCCup if anything because I have no invites :3).
