Think Shaolin monk, with some spells and abilities, but mostly hand to hand
Also, BACON SMOOTHIES FTW!!

Watching the video's on D3 about the monk, I think that they're going to have similar acts as to Diablo 2, if so, awesome, I just hope that the Sandy act is the last one, as that was my favourite act of D2 by far
Also, the video's of the monk have made me want that game so bad... so bad!
I just hope my computer (Damn my shitty computer) can run it

Ok you can read my opinion of the Monk Video in the other post but the actual game looks fantastic and plays sooooo easily.
I played it for a couple hours at the con (it wasn't time restricted like Starcraft2 for some reason) and just remembered how easy it is to play. Especially compared side by side with Starcraft where you have to think and strategise, where here you just click on things, run away from things that hurt you and keep clicking.
It worries me how much of my like I could lose to that game
ohh and the levels do look fantastic. I thought the sand one looked amazing but then I was watching one of the early trailers and I think they look even better in the dungeons.

Well once you're onto your second character you start to think ahead and plan out your skill trees right up to the last skill point
But at the start it's hack 'n' slash fun

1 Which classes will be available? or Races?
2 If there is a story mode, will there be the possibility of co-operative gameplay? How many players?
3 And if so, will be possible to play via LAN?
4 Will Diablo 3 have difficulty levels, like in Diablo 2 or after a certain periods playing the game, the difficulty will increase itself, so you wouldnt HAVE to play the game more then once to reach lvl 99?
5 How about customizable characters? Face, gender, height, weight, etc.

Still waiting for them to add the Paladin/Knight class...or something like them. Not having such a class would suck for me.

Knights aere so cliched. I liek all these monks and witch doctors, etc at least they are interesting. The paladin was
boring.

True but he seems a bit bland compared to the monks and barbarians. He doesnt fit in with the design of d3 liek he did in d2.

Not only that but seriously, paladins can solo the entirety of Hell difficulty half-naked for god sakes, and I hate them, they were completely imbalanced and dominated the games ladder rankings because they were just that easy to play.
I'm hoping that if they do damn well implement them, that they will make sure they're balanced. Coz they'd better be, the game needs to be better made than D2, and IMO that shouldn't be hard

Lol man don't get me started on THAT rant, but yes, I do enjoy the game, I play it myself as of right now, but I also play a lot of other things.
However, Blizzard have come a long way since D2, and I believe that they can and will produce something better than D2
However, I am still looking for ward to SC2 more than D3
